Northern state minister for heath, Dr. Satti Hassan stressed the ministry’s keenness on preventive programs and activities to cut spending on treatment.
Launching a campaign on environment education and diseases vectors control, Dr. Satti declared support to press ahead with such campaigns in all localities till the state avoids epedamics.
The campaign lasts up to 6 Dec., he added.
The campaign was also addressed by Dongola director for health affairs, Mawahib Mahdi who says the implemented activities involve spraying at mosquitoes breeding spots, waste dumping and awareness- raising on environment and health.
She called on services committees in villages and residential quarters to cooperate with the campaign’s teams,making its goals true .
