Ministry of finance and economy ,White Nile gross of self revenues levy is 59 percent for 2023 three quarters .

The revenues reached this percentage inspite of circumstances and challenges ,facing electronic levy and manual one.

A report presented by the finance minister of the state,Fatima Alhaj states the 2023 budget for the said period is 31 percent.

The minister, speaking to the cabinet , attributed decline in revenues estimated at 17 percent to suspension of transfers from the central gov. due to the war , adding since April

the state gained 17 percent only from the federal support. As the public spended accounted 31.2 billion pounds with 29 percent .

The budget met essential commitments and basic services as part of complementing wages and salaries.,along with steering ministries,gov units and subsidy of health ,education and water, the minster explained.

The budget covers funding some supplies projects on different percentages basis by self revenues where its performance reached 9 percent , the minister reported.

Decline in 2023 revenues is attributable to failure to access sources ,rise of expenditure due to increasingly spending on security ,state of emergency and accomodating large numbers of the displaces together with providing them with essential services.
