Health declares availability of cardiac catheter at Medani centre

National centre for cardio diseases and surgery has disclosed availability of cardiac catheter at Medani centre- Algazera state .
Funded by the ministry of finance , the provision of catheters contributes to improving the services, the centre reported.
The centre is embarked on providing catheters for Portsudan, Algadarif, Kosti and Dongola centres, as well.
Federal minister of health ,Dr. Haithem Mohamed stressed full support for the cardio diseases and surgery centres nationwide to perform adequately ,calling Medani centre as distinct.
He said services in other states are progressing .
The said centre contributes considerably to bridging the gab ,particularly after Khartoum hospitals suspension, the minister stated .
He voiced resolve for cooperation with centres ,commending the ministry of finance response.
It is worth-mentioning Medani centre admits more than 200 patients per day ,where they are cared for by senior consultants transfered in coordination with the ministry .
