Chairman for environment and natural resources supreme council – Northern Darfur state, Altaeb Idriss launched Sunday distribution of cleanliness equipment at the displaced camps.
Inaugurated at Alghadi basic school based in Alfashir city, the program is implemented by Sudan coast(sahil) organisation in collaboration with the supreme council and Sudan humanitarian fund.
Idriss affirmed the necessity of the program in environment education ,particularly at the camps since they are over populated .
While speaking in the inaugural ceremony ,he praised efforts made by Sudal org and its partners in dumping waste properly .
He called for forwarding the program to create a safe community free of diseases.
As he urged media to raise nationals awareness on waste dumping .
Immediate intervention to provide the displaced camps amounted at 73 across the state with services , was demanded by representative of the humanitarian aid commission, Mohamed Sabir .
The program was welcomed by Sabir who says it comes as scheduled .
